Description

The neurobiology of stress plays a key role in our students learning, behaviour and resiliency. How can
we develop a whole school approach to teaching and learning that creates a supportive environment,
reduces stress, builds resiliency, and enhances learning?
This workshop will unpack and provide a toolkit of resources for:

1. Understanding stress and its impact on our brains and bodies
2. Identifying stressors in ourselves and our students
3. Reframing negative behaviour as stress behaviour and lagging skills
5. Identifying key strategies to develop students and staff skills and resiliency
6. Building a school culture that supports positive behaviour and learning
