Description

Bill Adsit is a status member of the Tahltan Nation located in the Northwest of British Columbia. He was in a Residential School from age 5 to 15 years old. He
does not consider himself a survivor but a conqueror of the Residential School. He has a Business Administration Diploma from Trinity Western University and a
Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) from the University of Alberta. In his career with the Federal Government, he worked as a Communications Specialist,
a Flight Service Specialist, a Business Tax Auditor, and a Regional Quality Assurance Manager (Internal Audit). After his time with the Federal Government,
he was the CEO/President of the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation for ten years. Currently consults for several BC companies and Chair of the Tahltan
Heritage Trust. He was a Board member for BC Hydro Board, International Justice Mission, currently Independent Trustee with Primrose Lake Trust, BC
Indigenous Clean Energy Initiative and Community Energy Diesel Reduction with the BC Mines and Board member of Manulife/Axium Micro hydro project.
He has been married to Valerie for 57 years and they have 3 daughters, 9 grandkids and 8 great grandkids. They attend the Sherwood Park Alliance Church.
