Exhibitor Session: As students and teachers, you understand the value of belonging at school. Building a community of belonging strengthens relationships and goes hand-in-hand with academic success. Everyone wants to belong. But in Malawi, it’s rare to find schools that provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students with special needs. Each year, EduDeo selects a specific need identified by our international partners and challenges North American schools to help meet those needs by raising awareness and funds. We call this our annual school campaign, and this year we’re supporting students with special needs in Malawi through “The Warm Heart Project”. Join Laurie, who spent 10 years as a high school teacher before joining the EduDeo team as the School Relationship Manager, to learn more. She’ll share details about how EduDeo’s partner in Malawi is using Christ-centred education to cultivate a sense of belonging for all students.
