No one wants to be evaluated or judged. Everyone wants to improve. The connection between teaching and learning is meaningful feedback -- not grades, advice, evaluation, or judgment. Our God-given desire for improvement is the most life-giving aspect of what occurs in lower school classrooms. Building on the principles in Just Teaching: Feedback, Engagement, and Well-being, we will explore practical strategies for supporting meaningful feedback for educators and students. We will address how cheating robs us of our ability to provide accurate feedback and you will walk away with 2-3 ideas you can implement next week to enhance learning.
