This session is geared towards new teachers and possibly those from out of province, or anyone wanting to better understand BC curriculum and assessment practices. In order to know how to assess your students, you need to know what it is that you want to assess them on. We will look at different outcomes you can pull out of the BC curriculum when building you unit plans. We will then spend some time on specific ideas and tools that can be used to assess your primary students.
