This session will present a summary of the importance of clean drinking water, how to incorporate a project-based learning approach to the water crisis, ideas for using STEM (focus on locating water sources) and Inquiry Science (focus on water run-off and water sources) in exploring the water crisis, and resources that might be applicable to your teaching context. Connections will be made between local and global water issues and how students can engage in a hands-on, collaborative way to explore their role in loving their global neighbors and seeking justice.
