For the past six years, Derrick Mohamed has served in academic leadership and teaching roles at Trinity Western University, where he is currently Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of Leadership. With more than 30 years of experience in K–12 and higher education, he has worked with students and educators across all grade levels, from Kindergarten through Grade 12. His leadership journey includes serving as Principal and Assistant Head of School at Christian schools, including Richmond Christian School and Pacific Academy, along with experience in school board governance and leadership development. Derrick is passionate about Christian education, servant leadership, and creating learning communities where students and educators feel known, valued, and encouraged to flourish.
