This workshop comes from a final project in one of my graduate courses that considers the role of parents and guardians in their child's education. It looks into the challenges that parents may face when interacting with the school to advocate for their child, the reason for these challenges and possible ways we can alleviate these challenges at an individual, collaborative and institutional level.
